Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. Let's remember everyone deployed. Unfortunately, there are some people who do have to wait for their loved ones to return home. May they call come back safely.
For the rest of us, we have work to do. On our world, our nation and ourselves. No time like the present to begin to make positive change. I am working on another project now: a series of educational workshops on grief for an organization that requested my assistance.
What can you do today to improve your life? What are you waiting for?

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Love Nickelback tune Charlie... Thanks for your prespective and all the great quotes you shared today - timely...

“With most of us serving in the military we understand the ‘waiting!’ Remember the old saying, ‘Hurry up and wait!’ We all remember that one but waiting can take on so many different meanings. If we’re leaders and there is a decision to be made, then we don’t wait, we take action. On the same note, leaders have to have patience and learn to wait for the right moment. Then there is the old saying, ‘Wait for it!’ This is one of my favorites: ‘If you’re waiting on God, do what waiters do: Serve!’ May you have the fortitude and patience for whatever type of waiting your do to do it with style and a positive attitude; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Some things in life are definitely worth waiting for.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I hope that you are proactive and not shy in asserting leadership with grace and compassion as a servant leader. I expect your endurance has been built up in this challenging year of COVID risk, rioting, looting and anti-social social distancing. I pray that you and I are blessed with an increase of patience to weather the storms. 'The end of a matter is better than its beginning; Patience of spirit is better than haughtiness of spirit.' [Ecclesiastes 7:8 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown

LORD I lift each brother-in-sister-in Christ to YOU and pray that YOU bless each of us with sufficient endurance to do what YOU know what we need to do. I pray that we each persevere with grace through these trying times. ‘Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.’ [3 John 1:2 ESV]
I pray for good judgement and an honest search for knowledge for the leaders and judges of the nations as they evaluate the source of COVID 19 and the response of communist China. LORD I pray that YOU sift the corrupt leaders of China like wheat. ‘Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression, to turn aside the needy from justice and to rob the poor of my people of their right, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey! What will you do on the day of punishment, in the ruin that will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help, and where will you leave your wealth? [Isaiah 10:1-3 ESV]
I lift those on the front lines of infection risk, those protecting citizens from looters, rioters, and worse to YOU. I pray that YOU infuse endurance in each one and discernment to identify those at risk and those who are perpetrators or intend to be perpetrators of evil. ‘but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.’ [Isaiah 40:31 ESV]
I pray that YOU do what is necessary to change the minds and behavior of those focused on rioting, looting and mayhem and their financial backers and supporters. Bring night terrors to those who will repent and allow them to confess and repent. For those who won’t repent, I pray that YOU unleash the whirlwind on them in YOUR perfect timing. ‘What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory— even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles' [Romans 9:22-24 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members are becoming more compassionate during this stressful period.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ

Good “R.E.D Friday” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from a mostly cloudy SW Florida with a current temp of 72° but climbing upwards of 82° this afternoon... and I am "Waiting" for that warm Florida Sun...

Let’s “Remember Everyone Deployed” until they return home once again!

It's “Waiting Day!” Why Not?
