Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs . No rain yet but no sunshine either. We all have bad things happen. They might have happened during our youth or our time in service or later on. It doesn't really matter. What does matter is the choice that you make after something happens. Do ou let it become your defining moment and stay stuck there? Do you collapse (emotionally)? Or do you take it and use it to become stronger? What has happened to you that you can overcome in the process of creating a stronger self?

Have a glorious night and grow stronger in your night’s rest, my friend and sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
Heavenly Father, YOU designed us to grow in stress and to get stronger through rest and sustenance. YOUR WORD provides us with eternal sustenance as we embrace it and YOU store YOUR WORD in our heart. Let YOUR living water refresh us and renew us.
I pray LORD that YOU help each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters to realize YOUR presence in our lives. Open our eyes to see and our ears to hear YOUR words of love to each of us. YOU build us up through challenges and YOU never leave nor forsake us.
Empower us to love YOU as YOU first loved us and to let that love radiate to our spouse, children, grandchildren, fried and even enemies in this year.
YOU are father to the fatherless, husband to the widow and comforter to the widower. Pour out YOUR love on each one who is grieving the death or debilitating illness/injuries of loved ones. Strengthen us to be a comfort and encourager even while we grieve.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good Monday Morning RP Friends. Two from ER today.
“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.” Eleanor Roosevelt

Senior Chief. I, too bear many scars from this life, but only by the grace of God am I alive today to remember the stories that go with them. Give God the Glory for every suffering you go through and He will strengthen you.

Physical courage is grand, moral courage is grander, but the man who trusts Jesus Christ in the face of the terrific problems of life is worth a whole crowd of heroes. LTC Stephen F.
