Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs What a perfect quote for today. We do have a lot of trees down in the area. Those that do not have deep roots to draw on are always the first to fall. Staying grounded is critical for both trees and people. Know your roots and keep them firmly planted in integrity, love and compassion. You can take that "soil" with you wherever you go. How can you deepen the roots that you've planted so that you can continue to grow?

Excellent thoughts and analogy with the roots this morning Lt Col Charlie Brown Mine are firmly planted and they are growing at a great pace. I keep them nourished each everyday, so I can firmly execute my mission to help other veterans. There are many different meaning for roots and the other one is what I bring from my parents and family when I was back in Washington, IL prior to leaving for the service in 1975 and that is - the roots you come from can determine the path you take in life and if your family roots are solid and grounded in teaching you to be the best you can, then you're destine to accomplish a lot of great things in the days, months, and years to come. So very true - Thanks Mom and Dad for the great root system! You and Tom have a great Tuesday Charlie!
