Thanks SGt. Mac now if only that could be translated into action in Washington where arrogance seems to be the order of the of the day.

I pray that you love those close to you as the LORD loves you, my friend and brother-in-Christ SGT John " Mac " McConnell.
Heavenly Father, I pray that YOU bless each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters with an outpouring of selfless love and genuine humility. I pray that YOU deliver us from haughty pride and prompt each when pride would raise its head.
I pray LORD that YOU humble those on Capitol Hill and their staffs and motivate them to work together to forge legislation with wisdom. Build friendships and common cause across the aisles at the Federal level and state levels in each state of the USA.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

All of the greatest men, past and present were or are first of all humble. The world today considers humility as a weakness. But it is not. It is a great strength as a starting point on which to build one's life. When i see stickers on cars/trucks that say" no fear," I think, you fool. A humble person knows what to fear. Solomon said "Fear God and keep his commandments. for this is the whole duty of man." also, " The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." humility is perhaps the greatest attribute .

"Every person that you meet knows something you don't; learn from them." ― H. Jackson Brown Jr

I have always said something similar- any situation that I go into if I did not learn something I was not listening. In every training session I have ever lead, some asks a question that makes me think differently about what I "know"; never be of the mind there is nothing left to learn. Great Saturday thoughts Col. Stay warm and will be in and out the next week. Keep inspiring.

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs . Last training session done. I have done what I can and it is now in the hands of the surgeon and the Lord.
Humility, a very underappreciated virtue... how often have we worked with people who simply seem unable to hear the warnings before what they are doing brings the situation to a crashing halt? Perhaps it is someone who takes all the credit for themselves. What is missing? A strong dose of humility. Without it, we are deaf to reason, to learning, to hearing the small voice that says, you don't know it all, you can't go it alone. Perhaps there is one situation or one person who is difficult for you. Would a dose of humility on your part be a way to change the equation?
