Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs I really like today's topic. Too many people get up each morning and sleep walk through their days without really being alive. They forget that each day is a gift to be treasured and that no matter what is in that box, you have to be alive to make something of it.
I do my best to be alive each day, to find something good to celebrate. Tomorrow I have surgery and it is my birthday. Some people have been horrified by this situation; I see it as a gift to be in less pain and then able to do even more with my life and my time than I do now. I believe it's all in your view.
