Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs from what I hope will be a rainy day here in the DMV.
Caring is a gift any of us can give. We don't need money or possessions, what we need is TIME.
"Some talk to you in their free time, and some free their time to talk to you" (Anon) And sometimes it doesn't even require talk; some of the most powerful gifts have been to sit in silence with someone else and allow them the space to be...
Who could use your gift of caring today?

I pray that you and I can grasp a better understanding of the depth of the LORD’s care for each of us and those we love, my friend and sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
LORD, I pray for grace for each of my brothers and sisters-in-Christ to be caring without worrying as well as increasing our demonstration of love to those YOU call us to love.
Encourage and give endurance to parents of young children as well as those discipling immature believers. YOU call us to love the unloving as YOU demonstrated consistently as YOU walked among humanity. Strengthen our love to those YOU have placed us in the midst of at each stage of life.
LORD YOU care for each of us more than we can possibly comprehend and yet we can be grateful for what we often take for granted – YOUR uncompromising love.
I pray dear God that each one who reads this prayer will be a dutiful and caring caregiver when we are caring for family, friend and even strangers and that when we are the one being cared for, we will be thankful for the care and those providing it as sent by YOU.
I lift up the widows, widowers, orphans, the imprisoned, the destitute, the homeless, and those suffering from the ravages of wars in their mind. Meet each of them at their point of need tonight dear God. Do what it takes and motivate people to assist as YOU know is best.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

PO3 Rod Arnold
SP5 Mark Kuzinski I'm willing to take that chance. Most of the time I find the individual to be most grateful.
