Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs and thanks for the timely post. I suspect a lot of us think we have problems until we are faced with something life changing or challenging, like a hurricane and then we realize how small most of them are.
Today's quote is one that we work on a lot in counseling. People come in because they (or someone they love) has a problem but they want to work on the stuff that can easily be dealt with and then stop. What happens then is that the problem comes back because you haven't dealt with the real issues. What we argue about often isn't the real issue; it is just what we see and it what lies below that which needs to be uncovered and dealt with.

LORD YOU love each of us more than we can possibly comprehend and YOU work all things too good for YOUR people corporately and individually much of the time. I am grateful that YOU bless new believers with an earnest of the hope that lies with us as YOU answer many sincere prayers yes and quickly.
One of the reasons YOU allow us to go through severe problems is that as we trust in you and come out on the other side, we can share that testimony with others facing similar situations later on.
