Good Monday morning Col Burroughs. Great topic. It's so much easier and more effective to envision what it is you want in your life and then work toward accomplishing it. Athletes, successful business people and leaders all know how this works. We do this with clients and those who are best at "seeing themselves" doing a skill or accomplishing what they want in their lives seem to be more successful than others. What is it that you want in your life and have you tried envisioning it?

Germany Kent quote..
Athletes and SpecOps do this. Many people do this. It works. Its been proven by psychologist. The trick is to start and stay with it. Not easy sometimes.
You're posts are inspiring.

Where do I want to be? How do I get there? That's envisioning and planning.
Pregnancies, divorces, car accidents, etc., that's life.
Strike the best balance you can, don't give up.

Cheers, Rally Point!

Great wisdom in your comments 1SG Steven Imerman and great wisdom in the quote you picked for today brother...

"Envisioning the future for groups, organizations, teams, etc...and dreams for better processes and objectives is a process that all leaders must have to meet the demands in today's world for movement and progress, but they also have to be able to inspire those responsible for making their vision a reality. May you always have that ability to inspire those around to help create and make your envision a reality; may you do it with a positive attitude and understanding of inspirational techniques; may you keep yourself in the best possible condition to meet the future demands of your envision; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy in the process. Have a clear eye and view for envisioning the future and a great start to the new week." - COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

We today, in our classrooms as teachers the goal is to inspire our students to have opportunities to achieve great things in their lives. I remember the teachers that inspired me. I've reached out over the years to thank the ones I could find.

One of the moment I remember was giving a tour of Clark AB to the children of a Missionary couple who were friends of my Sister and Brother-law. I spent about three hours with them touring the base and talking about the Air Force. My sister told me much later both joined the AF in part due to the time I spent with them. Recently I got a note from the parents saying their daughter had made Colonel and thanking me. Over the years I talked thousands of children and adults on base tours and at other events it made me feel like I had made a difference. It is a great feeling.
