Good morning Col Burroughs. Love that we are back talking about leadership today. I believe that if you have a well trained team, what you do is let them know what needs to be done and then you get out of the way and let them do it. Clear the roadblocks for them; make sure they have the resources they need but understand you are not the expert in the nuts and bolts of the job. And then praise and pass along every bit of credit you can.

The leadership principles I learned in the Army served me well during my almost 40 years of leading teams. Find the best people you can, tell them what needs to be done and get out of their way. Lt Col Charlie Brown - I would agree. And if you can't agree to submit to an inspection for wires prior to a debate, I would argue that that does NOTHING to bolster your credibility as a leader. And if your side has to cheat to win an election, I'd say that even THEY know they don't have confidence in what they are offering as remedies to the problems facing this nation. One side is producing results despite the best efforts of the other side to thwart success, and the other side is creating chaos and blaming the opposition for it. SMH. I don't know of any PERFECT leaders except Jesus Christ and even He was controversial.
This nation is going through a rough patch. Pray for our leaders, and for our continued existence as a free and sovereign nation!

Many in this current generation of leaders seem to be self-absorbed and devoid of true wisdom which is the fear of the LORD. I expect that you are spiritually mature enough to be a servant leader. 'For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
