Good Saturday morning Col Burroughs. Currently cool and partly cloudy here in the DMV. People who have a solid understanding of themselves can sort out their ego from what is good for the team and the mission. When you don't have self knowledge you are manipulated by your own feelings and not by the facts of a situation. This is the basis of much of what we are seeing right now in our country; people responding without understanding. It is important for leaders to know themselves, their strengths and weaknesses so they can play to the strengths and find those who can help them balance the other. Otherwise there is a tendency to "get in your own way"
