Interesting topic for today COL Mikel J. Burroughs . I think one of the reasons that George W Bush was admired was because he was authentic. What you saw was who he was.
It is important to be an authentic person. That way you find and keep the people who value you for who you are. If you are about pretense, then as soon as that image slips, those who were with you based on that image are gone. Today, how can you be authentic, be real, be the leader and the follower you were meant to be?

I really like the Jung quote. In our early years we are trying to be "one of". But as we get older we realize its about the person we become and then we learn who we are. And we all have special God given gifts. It just takes time to learn what those are. Happy hump day Rally Point!!
