Can't pick a favorite today Col. My niece is celebrating her birthday today- 22 and still learning how to adult. Her high school crowd is moving in different directions and some in not very good directions. She is a pretty good kid and one of the things I have always told her is you are who you surround yourself with- at least that is how most will perceive you. Great capture in the main pic- choose wisely. Happy Saturday.

Have a wonderful Saturday night, my friend and brother-in-Christ Maj Marty Hogan.
Heavenly Father, YOU are the source of all wisdom and YOU freely provide wisdom to each who sincerely asks YOU for it. YOU provide wisdom and insight to address the major life-altering issues as well as the relatively minor issues such as locating a lost item.
I pray that YOU bless each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer with an extra measure of love, compassion and wisdom throughout the Christmas season. Help us to keep Christmas in our respective heart all year long and to be thankful for fellowship with YOU made available through the atonement of the Christ.
LORD I pray that we each would be wise stewards of time allotted to us, talents YOU have blessed us with, and the treasures who are our family members, friends, and physical resources we are responsible for.
Empower each of us to listen well, speak kindly and wisely as we interact with loved ones, business associates and strangers. I pray that we would be gracious to frenzied shoppers and not fight for a parking spot throughout this season.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Spot on Capt. I have two children in their thirties, one has made good decisions and the other no so good. We can choose our choices but we can't choose the consequences.

Life is hard enough making the right choices, but a life of negativity is our choice to make. Making the right choices brings the right people into your life that help you keep a positive perspective, and you begin to see that you are making a positive difference in their lives' as they make a positive difference in your life.

Sgt Albert Duran - hardest message to convey to the younger generation sometimes. Your choices today effect your future- I always push kids/grands to be involved in positive growth projects and set the example in my community. Positive change results in positive all round.

Great topic for today, Mikel! Your quote reminds me of Aristotle.

“Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives - choice, not chance, determines your destiny.”
― Aristotle

Have a great day!
