I am in a bit of a rush to go get one of my toes removed so I will make this brief today. I have copied a portion of an article about work as mentioned in the Bible. I hope y’all enjoy all are Blessed by it today.

What does the Bible say about work?
These essential truths only scratch the surface of what God says about work. In scriptures about work, we discover many ways our faith influences our work.
The Bible is God’s guide for your life. In the words of the Psalmist, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Ps. 119:105).
Now, when you flip through the pages of the Bible, you’re not going to find a verse telling you what job you should take or where you should live. What you will discover are verses about work providing you with direction in the decisions you make and the work you pursue.
From what the Bible says about work to gaining clarity on your calling, you will find what you need to know to “work heartily, as for the Lord” (Col. 3:23).

How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.” —Proverbs 6:6-11
“A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” —Proverbs 10:4
“Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits lacks sense.” —Proverbs 12:11

“The sluggard says, ‘There is a lion outside! I shall be killed in the streets!’” —Proverbs 22:13
“I passed by the field of a sluggard, by the vineyard of a man lacking sense, and behold, it was all overgrown with thorns; the ground was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down. Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction. A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.” —Proverbs 24:30-34

I'm still running behind. VA appointments, Church, Legion meetings and sporadic wifi makes it a bit hard. In another 3_4 days I may get caught up I hope.

Good Morning (EST) COL. "It don't come easy" Another home run....! You can't even imagine yesterday....! Moved 5 boats and one was a 30' Formula from blocs to a trailer (I have pics and a short video) the day started at 0830 and we were FTB til 1630. I came home wiped and Stevie said it was nice to see a smile on my face.....! Every inch of my body is tight or sore this morning and I love it....!
Favoring my right shoulder all day, my right feels better than my left this morning....All good.
I said to Bill....."We used every minute of this day" and he said......"Every now and again you have to"....! It was brutal but wonderful!
You got it spot on with this one:
"When you're out there fighting for your piece of the pie, goal, or dream, remember it don't come easy!" ― COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
This was yesterdays, with the exception that everything was big....really big:
"Things aren't always easy, but you just have to keep going and don't let the small stuff bog you down." ― Stella Maeve
On a different note, This needs to become center stage again instead of the Donnybrook that today's morality is :
"There are no easy answers, but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right." ― Ronald Reagan
I have to head to Boston for my monthly budget meeting today after I sell an engine this morning @ 0830....The phone just keeps ringing or texting me...Loving it! A swim platform on the way home last night and a windshield...!
Hope all goes well in DC today....Say hey to Charlie for me.
Rock the day Brother...

I pray that you and I remember the lessons we have learned in life and help others navigate life with wisdom and compassion, my friend and brother-in-Christ Alan K..
LORD YOU have already accomplished the heavy lifting in Atonement by defeating death and providing the free for us gift of salvation.
YOU are conforming each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters into the image of Christ YOU have designated for each of us. Sanctification hurts the flesh and it didn’t come easy for YOU. YOUR love for each of us ensures that our sanctification is absolutely necessary and is accomplished perfectly with no more than necessary pain and discomfort.
I pray dear God that that we are each sensitive to YOU and respond quickly to YOUR promptings and get it right the first time. Enable us to be quick to confess and repent and extend forgiveness as required with grace.
LORD I lift up deployed service members and civilians and their family members to YOU. I pray for eternal salvation of as many of these as YOU are willing. Give them each hope and lead them through their darkest hours, days and months of deployment and inability to communicate with loved ones. Mourning may last for a long night and joy comes in the morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

PO1 H Gene Lawrence - It only lasts about ten minutes with me so ten weeks was mind numbing! And it did feel great!

Happy Red Friday COL Mikel J. Burroughs -- Travelling the right path and following God is often the rocky path. This is a wonderful topic for discussion and motivation...People most often take the convenient and what seems best for them in the long run. Very much like spending the entire paycheck in party mode instead of setting aside for bills and the future...
Matthew 7:13-14
The Narrow and Wide Gates
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Have a Blessed day friends. Hope the sun is shining on you where ever you are!
