The Corps is on track to fully field the M38 marksman rifle, despite setbacks for the M27 IAR

I have mixed thoughts about both rifles. I know that a DM and a Scout Sniper are two separate roles, but it seems they are settling on the M38. I'm not a .308 guy at all. That said, they are wanting to engage target to 600m. Why stick with the 5.56 round. The scope? It works. Better glass available from Leupold and others though.

these would work a lot better for them, and reloading them are extremely cheaper. It would be infinitely cheaper if they stopped eating them and sniffing Elmers glue in the barracks, but these are jarheads sooo.......
