I always loved The Cult....one of May favorite bands growing up and Ian Astbury, in my opinion, had one of the best voices of the 80s. I though after Sonic Temple, which was an awesome album, and one I still have on cassette, as well as CD, that they would stay a bit more relevant. Even though they have continued to put out many good releases they just seemed to have faded from the public, which is kinda sad. Nothing like listening to Fire Woman when you're driving faster than you should!

I hear you sir including Love Removal Machine, the remake of Steppenwolf's Born to Be Wild, wild-hearted son and of course She Sells Sanctuary. Interesting how Wildflower borrows the Riff and style from AC/DC. It's interesting that the alternative music stations played The Cult but the pure rock stations would not play them at least in the Los Angeles area. Same goes to Billy Idol back in the 80s. I saw the cult and Billy Idol together in Irvine California back in 1989.

Sarah, I was at one of the two days they film the 101 concert at the Pasadena Rose Bowl in the summertime so I don't know which night they filmed the video for the song which is played later in Paris in 2001 and look back then they don't have any smartphone so people are actually waving their hands. My wife went to a to a Lady Gaga concert with her cousin a couple years back and Lady Gaga was looking at her because she was one of the couple people there was actually waving and and dancing to her music everybody there was sitting catatonic with their smartphone recording. It's a sad reality of today
