Sadly it is the child that will pay the consequences when he starts school.

Un-F***ing-believable.

My son used to play with his older sisters Barbie's. He would bend them in a "L" shape and say "bang bang." He learned that all by himself. That's because I let him be what he was born to be.

Those clearly misguided parents are going to ruin that boy. I see years of psychological counseling in his future.

This is what it looks like when idiots raise children. They are essentially saying they leave it up to him to wear of play with what he wants. Really, how do they know what he wants? He is only being exposed to things for girls or boys. He does not understand the difference because he is to young to know. That is why we have parents. They are supposed to make sound decisions for children that will help them develop and mature into well balanced adults not confused messes of humanity.

What if he wants to walk around naked or dress up like a murder victim? How about if he doesn't want to learn language or eat like a human being? Giving children what they want is lazy parenting.

I agree with your comments on parenting but think that we have interpreted the essay differently. I read it as they wanted parents to make choices that weren't typical to their natural gender.
