listening to the polls... you'd think that trump is facing a solid blue congress this year.
but then again, how much is wishful thinking on the part of the chattering classes? they rarely release the demographics of their polls, and many of the polls are not without bias.
i guess we should wait until November.... and keep lying to the pollsters :-)

Usually there are seats lost however while I think the Republicans will take a hit it will be nothing like that experienced by Obama - 2010: - 63 House, -6 Senate and again in 2014: -13 House, -9 Senate. If you want a wave that was a wave. However I do think Perez was a bad choice in terms of Bernie supporters. As well the new campaign finance model has been reshaped via the Clinton foundation - its now more or less legal to launder foreign and other questionable financial support as if you get caught you just give the money back. Same was the case for Trump - NRA was used to wash foreign money. However not surprised either our politicians aren't doing anything about it as there is a trickle down effect that they benefit from.

I heard about the Trump-NRA thing, but as far as I know that was just someone's wishful theory. There's never been anything to substantiate it.

Correct - FBI even looked into this and nothing. What I do find interesting is that similar allegations about the Clinton foundation were dismissed and never investigated. Point is they are now to many ways to back channel money into a campaign. One easy way - 100% Anonymous offshore numbered ATM debit cards with internet access. These cards are funded by by wire transfers or cash deposits of ANY currency. As well something I thought of - set-up a publishing company as a front - dump all sorts of money into it that needs to be cleaned - then give it to a political candidate for a book deal. Book company claims a loss and "investors" write it off as a loss and pay less in taxes.

LTC Brown, I respectively disagree with the " a momentum on Democratic side" narrative. Now what I do think is the illusion of a "wave" will be portrayed via the MSM pundits and the talking heads. I simply listen to their networks, MSM and radio, and their is no optimism (other than impeaching Trump). Plus the tone deafness is remarkable. Having a Kennedy rebut the SOTU, lets discuss White Privilege, Degradation of Women, Sex, Drugs , ect... Camelot is but a dream. There must be an Alternative for the voter. If the Economy remains as is and the Health Care Insurance issue gets resolved and the folks pay less in premiums then there will be a wake maybe but no wave. Republicans maintain majority in both houses. My 2 cents

I agree, LTC (Join to see)! The "blue wave" polesters are still polling the same people that predicted a hillary win. They cannot get out of their own heads nor the left's echo-chamber bubbles.
