Vape products should be classified as tobacco cessation devices, not tobacco. It's not that vaping is harmless, it's that is is much much less harmful than smoking. I think the tobacco industry is losing so much money to vaping that they "encouraged" the FDA to classify vape products as tobacco products. This article is just a snapshot, there are many more out there that explain the situation in much better detail. Overall the ruling by the FDA against vaping could kill the vaping industry and force people to go back to smoking and living unhealthy lives. What are your thoughts on vaping?

Here is a picture of the chemicals found in vapor. You will notice that the levels are drastically lower than what are found in cigarettes. If you so choose to, you can contact your representatives to support HR2058. This bill would amend the Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act to change the grandfather date for “deemed tobacco products.” This change would allow for most vapor products currently on the market to remain on the market without being subject to the burdensome (read: prohibitive) pre-market FDA approval application process.
