Thanks for honoring military working dogs SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL who are well remembered by their handlers and those whose lives they saved but tend to be forgotten by many.
Kudos to the military working dogs may they never be forgotten.

Military Working Dogs were quite an asset at least when I was in. At point I worked at the Military Working Dog school in Bushigawa. It was an area in Okinawa near Kadena AFB. I do support the MWG fully and am sorry for their treatment both during and after conflicts.

It is now recognized (not sure of dates) that the handlers and digs were exposed to Agent Orange not just in Vietnam but also other SEA countries. I travelled to U-Tpal airbase in Thailand and found out about exposures there and at least 3 other Royal Thai bases. What have we done for the dogs (and handlers) exposed there? Last I knew, it only mattered if your boots were in Vietnam.
