Thanks for sharing!! I was born in the middle of The Great Depression, born on an Iowa share croppers farm, I recently came in possession of some loan papers dated 1932 where my Dad and Mom had borrowed $1,300.00 which in those times was a years income for most sharecroppers. Dad did a great job, we never wanted for anything but those papers brought home to me how tough times were, I think they borrowed because I was on the way.
