I was watching the Smithsonian Channels “Air Warriors” and the episode was on the OV-10 Bronco. I had no idea this aircraft was still in use by the US military as a light attack aircraft in Iraq. Just goes to show you that low-tech weapons systems still have their place.

And the first test flight of the OV-10 Bronco was in Columbus, Ohio so many years ago.

Transfer A-10 and pilots to Army. CAS problem solved.OV-10 great plane, use for CAS?

There was a wing of them at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, when I was stationed there in 1982-83. They were very versatile aircraft. Good to see we are still using them where we can.
