England stood alone with the British commonwealth nations, until Hitler reneged against the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact and Operation Barbarossa was launched. The US supplied vehicles and materiel in lend-lease to USSR in Leningrad during the winter freeze on ice-road supply-route built on top of frozen Lake Ladoga. The US manufacturing base ramped up to build
1. Liberty ships to supply the British nation and Commonwealth nations
2. Pursuit [fighters P-38, P-40, P-42] and medium bombers [B-17, B-24, B-26]
3. destroyers for convoy security
4. M-3 light and medium tanks as well as M-4 tanks and M-3 half-tracks.
and so much more.
