This article reviews the tangled mess of VA state politicians, and uses it as a lens for American social rules. Most clearly, "Once a society establishes a system of rewards and punishments that favor accusation and force-multiply it through enhancements of race and gender, then fairness and truth become secondary considerations." Can we return to humility, apology, and forgiveness? It would be a nicer, kinder place to live.

We have gotten to far in the weeds with this. We need to use some common sense but as the old saying goes " common sense isn't ".
