While these devices are in a constant listen mode, unless you mute them, they are not in a constant record mode. And yes, there IS a ton of data being recorded about us. If you carry a smart phone, your location is known and can be shown by these companies. Your browsing history is shared among several major players. All of this needs to be looked at in light of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. It should, at the least, be as covered as wire taps are now.
