Russia's infrastructure will take some hits. Their hospitals, services, etc., will continue to suffer. It will create an internal distraction to add to the mounting challenges the vast majority of Russians are facing.
Pressure from within, pressure from without. With an economy the size of Spain or the state of Texas, they'll be spread thinner attempting to propagate controls on their land grabs. Putin may face significant internal repercussions if the West keeps--and even steps up--the pressure on Russia.

Good article about how sanctions and software in Russia. Along with it affecting civilian life and healthcare, there are few alternatives. Even if China stepped in to help, software requires people and money for updating and security
