I don't see how anyone could possibly say America is falling asleep at the wheel militarily. Honestly, we just put up nearly 800 billion dollars for defense spending, that's over 4 times how much China spends on defense. India is third, and we spend over 10 times what India spends on defense. The USA just agreed to build 50 billion dollars worth of nuclear powered subs to sit in the waters around Australia, who sits on the south side of the China Sea.
And this nonsense about Woke in the Marines is utter BS. It is a very honorable position to fill the seat of a Marine. We are trying to give equality to everything in America, this is not new. For a long time, we have been having a lot of turnover in the Marines. We spend a great deal of money training a good Marine, they stay 4 years, and they're gone, we spend a great deal of money to train another one to take his place. The more experience they have, the better of a Marine they are, so the new plan is to try to hire Marines according to whatever percentage would give each race a relatable share of the population, for instance, if the population is 50% white, we hire 50% white marines, 25% African American and 25% Mexican (these are not correct figures, just an example) to give all races an equal share of the positions. This is called equality, not WOKE.

Diversity is one of those words and concepts that was innocuous enough when it first started being bandied about. It has morphed from Dr Jekyll to Mr Hyde. Along with that, any counter-thought is not PC. It is important that those opposing the dark, truly racist (an over used word) under belly not be cowed into silence. As the saying goes, These are times that try men's souls.
