As I watched the video I kept looking for what Palantir did provide and what it did not provide and did not hear it anywhere. I recognize the CM challenges within the joint environment. You are trying to integrate systems from different services into a cohesive system despite the fact that the services have different needs. However I feel that the acquisition system provides equally great challenges.with annual funding nd other constraints which lead to false starts. One thing the report glossed over was that The Air Fore started the program and then it became joint. Some claimed in the initial phases that it was too Air Force Centric others said the information goes up but it never comes back down. It was difficult to get a real handle on it. Then you add service peculiar needs and then issues like at what level can information exchange occur? As it moved along it appeared that that question and data conflict or conflicting needs were not being addressed. In all fairness to the Army, they stayed with it while the others gave up in frustration or other reasons, So to fault the Army entirely for the problems with DSGS A when it started as a joint program seems a little unfair and to say that Palantir provides all the solutions without proof is also a problem > These are just a few of the issues.
