I had my first and last Red Bull energy drink many years ago and I thought my heart was gonna explode. Haven't touched once since.

PO1 John Johnson Wise Man. I may have had half a dozen since they have come out but I'm Not a Big Fan. Now Starbucks Double Cafe Mocha Energy Drink would be One of My Drugs of Choice.

I don't know if it has a connection, depression, smoking needing something to get you up and something to calm you down. As you know, chip, I keep discussing my druggie 22 year old step daughter on welfare. She has to take an energy drink or a cigarette to get up and I'm sure out of the house, she gets a bong and lights up to relax. That all messes up your brain is especially if you've used magic mushrooms in the past where you can't produce your own serotonin. Consequently, you stay up all night and sleep all day. Not sure if that would affect the average Soldier, sailor or Marine who can't sleep when he's supposed to and he's tired when he's on shift because his body's body clock is all messed up. Just a hunch? By the way, I saw the movie hunter killer and I hope you will see it this weekend! Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 35% which is BS but the average public gave it 85%. Even silent service guy who commented on Rotten Tomatoes said that it was pretty good even though there were some inaccuracies of the XO debating the boat captain or maybe the fire commands being incorrect. You will like the are a of monitors for all the Spooks on board the sub. Did you see this movie yet?

LTC (Join to see) Not Yet. Probably will check it out My Next Weekend. This Weekend was Tied Up Celebrating the 87th Birthday of the Nagel Family Matriarch. What a Crew/Family I Come From. She had 3 Daughters of Her Own but as Our Aunt She was Pretty Significant is Raising 5 More Gals and Guys Like Me. She was Quite Close to Her Slightly Older Brother, My Father and with Him Gone, Hearing Me is Just Like Hearing Him. (Chip Off the Old Block)

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel wow, you sure have a busy schedule! I am just excited and giddy about the movie. My seven-year-old daughter and my wife were bored watching Dunkirk. My 11 year old daughter and I loved Dunkirk. Everybody was unanimous and liking the movie hunter killer. My wife was pleasantly surprised. It was funny to see my seven and 11 year olds on the edge of their seat the whole movie. My 7 year old has seen my 11 year old play Ghost Recon on PlayStation so they were intrigued by the Navy Seals. My daughters were really interested with submarines. They understood the ramifications of what the movie was about and they understood about the ships or Subs firing depth charges or torpedoes. They understood the countermeasures. They understood pretty much everything. This movie is relevant to today because it also involves a fragmented Russian military. It will have a surprise ending that I did not anticipate. It was cute to see my 11 year old daughter's say hey, that guy is a major! She was referring to lieutenant commander who was the XO of the boat lol. I didn't correct them but at least they knew that the boat captain was a commander and they recognize and see it as a lieutenant colonel. So my little kids who's the boss on board the boat. Just FYI...

LTC (Join to see) - I Will Always Remember our XO During Fiery Vigil/Desert Storm/Southern Watch whenever He came on the 1MC "This is Your Sea Mother Speaking" He was an Absolute RIOT and While the XO is supposed to be the Duty Dick, He Never Could Pull If Off Quite, No Matter How Much He Would Pretend to be a Hard Ass, He was Really a Great Guy and a Good Sport when I Gave Him a Shower with an Inch and a Half Fire Hose.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel the movie did show a few seconds Collision alarms, battle station alarms, damage control Cruise putting on their gear and fixing fires and flooding on board the submerged boat. Giving your leadership a saltwater bath must not have been very nice LOL
