Spoken as only someone who's never been on a flight deck, can. :)

CPT Jack Durish - Touche. I believe the difference is that I do not so easily dismiss the dangers of a battlefield. There are ten thousand ways to die on a flight deck, and most of them you never see coming.

Looks like it takes a special person and a special personality to wear the "yellow". Is there anyone who worked a flight deck that can hear? I see they are good at sign language while working. I have to vote with the guys in "yellow"; the chaos managers.

The guys in yellow are called Shooters, and they're all pilots (therefore, officers).

I don't discount the danger of working on the flight deck. The one curious thing I noticed was that none of the footage showed inclement weather or pitching decks. The dangers must increase exponentially.

On the other side of the coin there are myriad different ways to be wounded or worse on the battlefield.
