Coronado, Little Creek, Norfolk, Dam Neck, but hey, Florida is close to those places. I mean it is only like four inches on the map...

How Cool, Not where I would have thought it would be. Like the Nations only WWI Museum/Memorial in Kansas City.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Well they both work down range in combat environment and train in combat tactics, although one is more offensives and the other tends to be defensive they work in combat zones at the same time and Seabees build or support all of thier SOF camps. The SEALs have Seabee support teams assigned to them and deploy with them. Some of the Bees get to go through special schools like jump, SERE school and other things they may need down range.

CPO (Join to see) - Thanks for the information. Again no idea that they had training here. I knew that there was naval aviation in this part of Florida, but didn't think that there was anything else.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - I believe that SOF units did their combat diving portion of their qualification around there for some time, I think it has all moved to Panama City, but they do training missions around there and Key west.

CPO (Join to see) - In my Day Spooks like me were not allowed to be "Seals" and I suspect that is still the case but when you say "Support" I am reminded that while we couldn't be SEALS in the SEAL Teams we could be assigned to "SPECWARUNITS" "What the Hell is SPECWARUNIT" Support Team for SEALs. I would later find out later that while we couldn't be SEALs they would drag a CT with them and leave them somewhere "Safe" (That is a Relative Term) to support them. In Beirut they set up a Makeshift HQ in the Main Sewer leaving the CT There.
