Here's a thought provoking Editorial from a former CIA Intelligence Officer. He reminds us that the 20,000 men and women of the CIA often share completely different opinions than the Political appointees who lead them, especially those of their outgoing Director John Brennen. It ends with statement "Most (CIA employees) also take seriously their oath to uphold the Constitution, not necessarily what they perceive as the propaganda that comes out of every White House.

Interesting read. That being said Brennen using the CIA as a political tool has been the norm for the past 8 years. Obama turned most of the government agencies into his own political tools, since he would not work with Congress.

That has been the one problem with Trump's comments (strictly to IC issue). If he and his team would have said he didn't trust the "politically appointed" heads of the IC agencies than that is totally reasonable. The problem is he said IC which includes all of us "regular Joes." We have issues with every administration, but trudge along doing our job anyway.

I believe all of us know that about our rank and file intel analysis. When Brennan was appointed, many sais he was a political opportunist, not an expert in the intel field.
