You know this reporter is very sharp, too. He says in very big, blue letters that NSA is at "Ft. Meade, FL"
But would anyone expect NSA and GCHQ to NOT be monitoring in-flight telephone calls for terrorists making contact with other terrorists? That's their mission isn't it? This makes it look like they're doing their mission very well, I would think. Like you said, why would people think their calls in an airplane couldn't be traced? That's just plain (plane?) stupid!
