Thanks for sharing the radio broadcast from December 7, 1941 SGT John " Mac " McConnell.
Since the majority of us were raised in the TV generation and later, the fact that telephone and radio were the primary means of communication can seem alien.

So true LTC Stephen F. . I remember our first black and white TV . I must have been 3 or 4 years of age.

This is an amazing piece of audible history. Thanks for posting this John, I had not heard it before.
Was there any indication as to why it was short circuited and whether the government was behind it?
