probably not a wise Idea... we are having enough Problems in Afghanistan and Iraq with adding Syria... because of the Over deployed and under staffed Military the Troops are fast approaching Burnout and the Breaking Point ... as seen by the 22/Day...

We need to have clear Rules of Engagement and get along with the Assad regime first. This looks messy

SSG (Join to see) - the lisp speaking president Assad is the new English-speaking Joseph Stalin PO1 William "Chip" Nagel actually told us here at rallypoint that his wife was served by him in London before he became a dictator. I guess the other son fell out of favor and this guy who was a doctor (Assad Jr.) was now the heir to replace Assad senior. I don't like the situation either.

LTC (Join to see) - Our best option is to do what we can to help mitigate the suffering in the region caused by war. Instead of being the ones dropping more bombs, lets be the ones providing medical care to the sick and wounded, tents for the homeless, food, water, security to those fleeing conflict. A single cruise missile launched from a B-52 can cost upwards of 2 million dollars... I'd rather spend that 2 million on food and medicine for the people fleeing the chlorine gas bombs being dropped by the Assad regime.
