This is what I tell people: "Call it what you want... EO, social experiment, political agenda, etc. It's the current state of affairs so sit down, strap your buckle and touch nothing, and let time prove the desition makers right or wrong!"

CSM, you got a very important point: Leadership! That standards are in place and marching orders given. It's time to ruck-up and double time towards the fire fight!

SFC James Wright - My question to you: as a SNCO/PLTN SGT, what what is your course of action when as you stated "a problem gets solved with a right hook?

Thanks for sharing my writing, though this was a pretty off-the-cuff visceral piece. You can see more current stuff at my blog http://www.PoliticalAnimalBlog.com.

I want Ready and Deployable Soldiers, so it matters not to me if they are male or female. If you graduated your MOS or ASI/SQI Training, it is because you met the standards. You can have as many parts to the series as you would like, but it is not going to change the Combat Exclusion Policy from being already rescinded (January 23, 2013). The conversation we need to be having is how are we going to create the best environment for integration. We need to look forward, and there are always going to be problems with everything in life. We need to focus on the solutions, for if we complain about the problems - we then become part of the problem.
