The profit-obsessed monster destroying American emergency rooms

I'm not usually going to agree with VOX. This article, however has been a topic on my mind for years. I have posted in the past, my dislike with Medical Insurance and for profit Hospital Groups that are more about profits for the investors, than patient care. Basic life saving medical care should not have a profit/loss tag associated with it. That's why I like most VA Drs. They could be somewhere else making higher paychecks, yet they choose to spend their time dealing with crusty old MF's like me.
