This Ship had over 25k troops so you took shifts sleeping in or outside on the top deck in WW2. I Know a WW2 Veteran who said the food was great (U.S. cooks) while the British ships had English chefs and the food was awful.It is in Long Beach, California. It is the last suriving Cruise Ship of that Golden Era. It is no longer the grey. In the Poseidon Adventure from the 1970s.
