Clearly some of those places for folks with more dollars then sense. One town, Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, mentioned a "2,000 square foot home for selling for nearly $5 million. And yes, that price tag includes a pool with a fountain and hot tub." That represents over 18 years average household income in that city. My home is nearly twice as big, my pool has two fountains and my built in spa has one fountain, yet only cost 1/10th the money. We have better schools -- and get to live free in a red state.

Ours is a 2,000 square foot house, but with it is 160 acres of woods, streams (plural), ponds and a waterfall. Now that's a lifestyle.
