Let's Spend The Night Together

Thanks for this. Stewart was dismissed from the line up as he was older, he didn't fit the image, and even without him there were 5 members, when most bands had 4. However, he was still a full financial partner. He did not mind, but at first his wife did, and she minded a lot. Within 18 months she changed her mind when none of the Stones' public line up could go to a restaurant, movie, or a shopping trip with out a mob scene, while she and Ian maintained a regular life style, except with millionaire money. Kind of the best of both worlds. I think his very best work, out of many really good ones, was Let's Spend the Night Together. The Stones used Stewart and his piano like a third lead guitar, rather then part of the rhythm section like most bands of the era did if they used a piano. Part of that unique sound they had.

Thank you, my friend SGT (Join to see) for making us aware that on December 12, 1985, Scottish keyboard player Ian Stewart died of a heart attack in his doctor's Harley Street waiting room.
Rest in peace Ian Stewart.
I intend to flesh my response out after I restore my system.
