I don't like the Bisley style grips as well as the older plow handles. Yes, the plow handles let the gun rotate with the recoil, which is why it's more pleasant to shoot a Super Blackhawk than it is the heavier Super Redhawk (in comparable barrel lengths), which also places the hand higher on the grip. With lighter loads, it may offer some advantage, but it may come down to what you are used to shooting. I suspect that coming from platforms like the 1911 with the grip just below the action, it may feel more natural, but not to me.
