I use to be a part of something much greater than myself.
As a husban and father who works, it is a different situation as most here know.
After 23 years, i am one hurdle away from making my way back to be among the Honorable. It has been an up hill fight all the way. I had to fight laziness, stupidly and red tape.
Now, as I sit around holding my crank waiting for the symbolic C-130 to pick me up, I think about the adversity that characterizes Honorable military hard chargers. Plus, I love music and I am a hopeless romantic.
