I found this story interesting. Definitely have to look up Peter Norman and get more details. Note this video is not about the two Black Americans. Take a moment to watch and reflect. This surprised me.

I watched the documentary on this man a couple years ago. A fascinating story about a guy in stood next to the history that was made in that picture.
