will you let me know what you think of this article. I am embarresed yes, I was in a 8 yaer obligated reserve enlistment on a active duty guided missle frigate for 5 years, 18-23 getting all beat up, in deck. Part TIme on a FFG over 5 years is exactly why you would get sick and also be a target by the full time guys on the ship, for isolation bullying harassment assaults threats unable to adapt, inexperienced and operational and on call 24/7 otherwise and only receiving compensation ranging from $3-4K a year approximately, to spread between rent and food, and survive off the ship, and go to college full time trying to become an offcer why I originally joined, american pride baby!! and return to duty and have ground hogs day and repeat again, and when you show up to the va wondering why you are a mess, the va literally tried to kick me out, as the report details, denied services when they found i was in a reserve enlistment, an honorable discharge that was worthless, and hurting as they turned it on you, and well speechless as well I was the best recruit who well lost it all and ended up so confused and my mom well she saw it all and the Navy said I was alright so my temper was upset when people questioned me and my anger, and I tried to join the army to get out of this and try something new and my asvab had went down 4 years later at 22 years old, and my fiance she left me and well i missed almost all my families birthdays and never ever had mine celebrated i mean all the normal stuff in life and then i found out my father was a vietnam vet..and then i had to reread the Constitution Preamble
