For the past three years, I have been a student at USC Aiken in an Interdisciplinary studies program. To graduate I am required to do a thesis and I have chosen to study women warriors as they transition from the military. This is all women veterans and not just those associated with one VSO or specific organization. To do this I need the help of everyone on this site to encourage every woman warrior you know to take the survey. I promise to post my findings here and advocate for women as they leave the military. This is entering a new phase as younger women experience combat, begin new roles and grow to 18% of the total force.

That's a promise, but I have 8-10 interviews to do and a thesis to pull together analyzing my findings! Once that is done it will be disseminated as I asked for help. This is our stuff and how we learn, we aren't alone! I can see why some develop a passion for research. I have studied and thought for three years on this project, to finally begin has given me immense hope and purpose. I may be biased, but I think we are pretty awesome!
