The Trebuchet (Medieval Period)

Here in Rapid City every year we have our Great Pumpkin Festival and they always have the pumpkin throwing competition,, lots of fun

Since the invention of the rock people have been throwing shit at each other

Built one in my 3-D Functional Art class (yes, I was initially an art major...). The base project was building a structure that could protect an egg from being launched from a catapult. I decided my group needed to go the Trebuchet route, though, due to being able to launch the opposing teams carriers much farther w/ much more force.
