I have been sober a day at a time since July 1977 when my sister God bless her bailed me out of jail after almost losing my wife and kids because of alcohol, stories like this hit me hard and all I can say is to anyone facing these demons is to trust your Higher Power and take it one day at a time.

SGT Philip Roncari, Been there done that too. One day at a time is what I still do. If the thought crosses my mind, I think of my family, and what it would do to them. But,I have to admit, sometimes that doesn't seem to matter. In that case I pray about it and count to ten. Thank you for your response.

SGT Keith Bodine-Thank you for listening Brother we seem to have taken similar paths in this life always good to have a simpathic ear, sometimes I think that bond we have from so long ago is the only thing that keeps me sane.

SN Greg Wright, "Well Shoot"? That's a terrible thing to write on a suicide story. Lol when the rest is posted I'll be sure to post it.
