The U.S. Air Force is 24 Percent Short of the Fighters it Needs

Hmmm, sounds to me like we need to reduce mission, since the funding does not supply whats needed to perform it. If they country and the politicians don't feel we have to money to do all they want done, then they need to stop demanding we do all they ask us to do. Just saying.

No..we need to stop going with "lowest bidder" contracts and start forcing companies to quit ripping off ameeicas tax dollars.
If a plane costs 1 million to build right, dont let a company bid 5 million and use substandard parts on purpose.

This happens and its allowed to be. Put a stop to it and military spending and equipment will balance.
