WTF? This has to be one of the most poorly written articles I have ever seen as far as throwing a bunch of buzz-words together.
A BREECH ( not Breach) is where the round (not a flipping bullet) is loaded . At the end of the cannon tube is a muzzle brake. The muzzle brake is intended to reduce recoil and strain on the piece by allowing the kinetic forces ( muzzle blast) to be directed in different directions.
I don't know why they throw out the term 5000 Miles per hour, as Muzzle velocity is usually desribed in artillery in meters per second. 5000 MPH translates roughly to 100 Meters per second, which is unimpressive as the muzzle velocity of current standard ammo is about 560 meters per second.
