It makes sense. You can continue the processes that target certain higher risk populations while also running events that vaccinate anybody willing to show up. The biggest hurdle for vaccination seems to be all the organization around who gets it when in some areas. When ever doses are available they should be going into people rather than being held on a shelf so that the "right" people get identified, make an appointment, etc as long as enough doses are available to also get them vaccinated.

I'm waiting for my priority group to come up so that I can get a vaccine right now. They are hoping to get to my group by the end of the week. Then I'll have to deal with proving that I'm an "essential worker". I'm awaiting a vaccine so I can go back up to Alaska and process fish again so that might get interesting since I'm unemployed right now.

My state had 7200 new cases today and 127 deaths. We need everybody that is willing to be vaccinated to get it ASAP.
