The US and NATO are preparing for Russia to go after troops in the field and at home

Information Operations os something the Russians are exceedingly good at, and something that the average US warfighter has downplayed in importance. But it, along with cyber, is where the fight is today.

Good to be ready.

Without the MAD of nuclear, they can't match us. So, cyber attacks would likely precede any active phase. Imagine having the power grid shut down and other attacks; such as making financial assets disappear, as preemptive moves to disorient and disable standing SOP. They have been probing for awhile. Space efforts could hamper comms, as well as GPS etc. They have already alienated and divided us, so we are preoccupied with each other. More so in the public sector than standing forces.
